About me
I am a PhD Candidate at the University of California Santa Barbara Department of Economics. I completed my undergraduate education at Indiana University, where I majored in Economics/Math and Geography.
My current research explores local responses to federal disaster policy as well as the political economy of such policies.
I spent the summer of 2018 in Bozeman, Montana as a Graduate Fellow at the Property and Environment Research Center (PERC). I am the recipient of PERC's 2019 William S. Broadbent Family Graduate Fellow Award. You can access their website here.
My non-professional interests include mountain biking (preferably downhill, reluctantly uphill).
